News 2010

Småland-Ölands KC Int Ch Show in Växjö Nov 8th..
41 p/s Minis was enterd under breed specialist Wenche Eickseth from Norway. A total number of well over a hundred Minis all colours was entered at this show under three different judges. This tells what a big show breed Miniature Schnauzers is in Sweden compared to other countries. We had a successful day with our breeding.

Maximin Quickstep
won the Junior Class with Honour Price and his litter sister
Maximin Waltzing Matilda was 2nd in Junior also with HP. She is owned by kennel Evangelin. 2 promising youngsters not in full coats this day so we are very pleased with the results.

Maximin Blue Moon made the day for us and of course for his owner Catarina Lindholm, X-plotions kennel, as he beat some top winning champions and ended up BOB with the dog CAC and CACIB and later on finished 3rd in a strong group final.

Västmanlands KK Int show in  Köping 24 July.

43 p/s was entered under Irish judge Colm Hastings who made an excellent job and from his very well written critiques one could really see he knew the breed he was judging which was very appriciated.

Maximin Quickstep, "Rasmus", made his debute in the puppy class at KC shows just over 6 months old and was BOB pup and ended up BIS-4 in the puppy final all breeds.

Maximin Mr Minivale won a champion class of 4 males and ended up 2nd best male which we were very pleased with on the day. As usual Köping was an excellent summer show that we certainly will come back to.

Some May - July updates.

We have not done too much showing since Hässleholm. For me it has been more judging and education for some new breeds in gundogs.

I web-site has not been much updated at all so here is a summary of what has happened.

The World Winners show in Herning was no success at all for Maximin as the judge Christian Stefanescu from Romania did not prefer the type
of either Tailor or his full brother M. River Dance. Tailor was one of the 5 that was graded Very Good in a in a huge class of 14 s/p male ch:s.
So our long trip and preparings was over in about 4 seconds. The same happened to River Dance (Robin). Well, we had a nice day in good company
and all congratulations goes to the lovely BOB bitch bred by Greypix in Norway and owned by Marie Hägglund from Sweden. She beat the Ch Dog
with lots in hands.

In Jönköping there was a 3 day Int show and that was a bit better. Robin and his owner Emeli got cc quality and was placed all three days under
breed specialists.

At the Swedish Schnauzer/Pinscher club show Maximin Walzing Matilda was BOB pup and ended up 4 in the bis puppy final. Congratulationas
to her owners, Evangelins Min Schnauzers.

Hopefully we will have some nice show news from the late summer and autumn shows and will try to update more often.

Miniature Schnauzer Cup 2010.

The Miniature Schnauzer speciality was held 8th of May and there was about 90 adults enterd under Poodle specialist Anna Törnlöv and 14 puppies under Giant Schnauzer specialist Brith Andersson.

This is a yearly event, this time for the 25th time as the first show was in 1986. Weather was cold and windy, the place this year felt a bit "closed down". But as usual it is nice to meet fellow breeders and other exhibitors which make this show very special and one can not miss it if unless for very special reasons.

Result this year was not briliant for us. Tailor nr 4 out of 4 in the champion class and with honour price.

Our new pup Maximin Quickstep enjoyed himself socialising with other dogs which was a good practice and a nice day out for him.

Congratulations to all of you placed in the BIS-final which is mixed in colours and hard competition. See you next year again!

HALLANDSHUNDEN 2010

Feb 13th Hallands Kennel Club arranged their yearly event "Hallandshunden" which is a dinner and competition where dogs from Halland can compete if they have been BOB or BOS during the year before.
It is a match show and 43 dogs where entered this year. Tailor won all his rounds before the final that was between 3 dogs, Tailor, a Border Terrier and a Shih Tzu. The Shih Tzu won the title but we were very proud getting as far as we did. The judges were Siv Jernhake, Ann Catrine Edoff and Paula Sunebring.
Before the finals we had a very nice dinner and it was a very nice event to remember.
